Jon

The name's Jon. Let's seeee... I'm fifteen years old and a sophomore, and really into Final Fantasy and writing (obviously)... I actually started out reading like crazy, reading anything I had gotten my stubby little hands on. After a while, I started to draw comics. My first one, "Adventures of Super Diaper Baby" was a huge hit. At least, with me and my brother. It was about a seemingly normal baby, but when trouble reared its ugly head (like evil babysitters, and diaper eating spiders), the normal baby would transform into SUPER DIAPER BABY! Well, after that I kinda gave up with writing, and comics. But, that wouldn't be for long. In the sixth grade I started writing a fantasy story, almost a rip-off of Eragon, but I didn't care. It was something to actually be proud of. I was also really into drawing at that time. I soon gave up with that though. However, my creative skills would be spawned from the dark depths of my mind once again, when in seventh grade I met Jake. Ah, good times. Like he said in his bio, we did comics, mainly spoofs of other things. I have no clue how Bill 2.5 (A spoof of Ben 10) even got started, but we did it. It was probably stupid in other people's eyes, but in ours we would think it was the greatest thing ever, and it was. We'd spend countless days in Spanish and Communications, trying to come up with new adventures for Bill and his 2-and-a-half aliens. We also did Ninjou, the Big Ninja (Ninji the little ninja), where they made remarks about their axes touching the top of the panel, and the only color was the tons of wasted red ink in which we took out the tube in a red pen and blew the ink onto the page, where we smeared it around so it looked like blood. As you can see, we were very creative. Also, we did a short story type deal, and mine was called The Fallen Ones (I think) and well, that was good until it died out. In the eighth grade I was too into playing video games instead of writing, so nothing exciting happened there. In the Ninth grade I started writing another book, which I quickly lost... And now we come to here, the present. I'm now writing better than ever, and I'm super excited to be a part of The Overlook. I'm still into the band, and when I get older I'm either being a writer or a lead guitarist, if not both. My writing style show some aspects about my love of fantasy, and I try to describe things so that people know what I'm talking about, because usually if I just say it then its really vague. Also, I usually use things that keep people in suspense, and I love using analogies in my writing. I hope to improve and become even better than I am, because I understand that there is always room for improvement, and The Overlook will really help with this.
